Testimonials

“My name is Marc C. Cobbs, and I will be attending The University of Millersville on scholarship to play football.  I started running for Philadelphia Express when I was five years old, and I have been competing ever since.

Track is the foundation for my athletic career, and UAGTCA has helped me build relationships with friends and people I can now call my family. I realized from a young age that UAGTCA is more than a track organization. It’s a group a dedicated adults trying to keep kids safe and off the streets, while also developing kids into young adults that are ready to make their own decisions and create opportunities to show the world, we are athletes, not runners.

I want to give thanks to my dad for introducing me to this sport and Coach Rhonda for the unconditional love she showed to all the participants throughout the years.

UAGTCA isn’t just six letters next to each other, it’s a lifestyle.”

“The UAGTCA prepared me for collegiate sports and helped me become the athlete I am today in multiple ways.

From a young age, UAGTCA gave me experience with challenging competition and helped me gain valuable skills like perseverance and helped me develop strength mentally. At a younger age, being able to compete and win the ribbons for placing at the meets were one of the things that made me happiest at a younger age. The UAGTCA helped me learn that to be a good athlete, you must put in the time to get the results you want back.

I truly would not be at a Division 1 school on the track team if UAGTCA had not given me the foundational skills that it took to be a good athlete.”

“My name is Morgan Fuller, and I currently attend Robert Morris University where I have decided to advance my education and track career to the collegiate level.

UAGTCA has helped me gain experience in not only competitive racing but also build connections with a strong community. I believe that the staff members and team that help to run and organize the meet always do a great job and build personal relationships with the coaches and athletes.

The community that UAGTCA has contributed to inspires me to build connections with others in the track world. Since I was allowed to be a part of a community like this, I now have skills in humbly interacting with my competition, understanding rules and proper race etiquette, and can easily work with the staff at any meet because I understand how to follow instructions while the staff is working to organize a race.

I think that it’s great that kids get involved in track programs because it will allow them to learn how to work with a team and be supported by a body of people who support them in all aspects of life.”
