We Are…
The United Age Group Track Coaches Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of a team of coaches and volunteers dedicated to the development of young athletes through the sport of track and field. These committed volunteers serve knowing they have nothing to gain except the satisfaction of a task well done.
Each year, the UAGTCA sponsors several Indoor & Outdoor Track and Field Meets that are designed to promote its objectives. The meets are directed primarily towards Youth athletes. In some meets, however, we do run an Open division in each of the offered events in support of our many Alumni.

An Administrative and Operational Team
George Anderson
UAGTCA Founder
George founded the UAGTCA in 1977 with a mission to provide a quality, organized track and field program for the youth of the area. Many local track clubs had to travel great distances to participate in competitions that could very easily be conducted in our own area. After meeting and uniting with several area youth track coaches, the UAGTCA was established. Its first track meet was held in 1978 — and still continues over 45 years later.
