IMPORTANT Message from the UAGTCA regarding Meet #2 – Sunday, January 12, 2025
Dear Coaches,
Thank you for your participation in UAGTCA’s track meets and for helping us create opportunities for YOUR youth athletes to grow and develop. As we prepare for Meet #2 on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Ott Center for Track & Field, we must address an important matter.
At UAGTCA Meet #1, held on January 5, 2025, we unfortunately experienced MANY instances of inappropriate and unacceptable spectator behavior particularly around Ticket Sales, including rudeness, aggression, and disrespect to put it lightly. As such, Penn has informed us that such behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and has provided new guidelines to ensure future meets run smoothly and safely. Failure to comply with these changes jeopardizes UAGTCA’s ability to host events at this premier facility.
NEW MEET FORMAT & RULES FOR UAGTCA MEET #2
The meet will now be conducted in two sessions:
• Session 1:
All Boys (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

CRITICAL COMPLIANCE NOTICE:
Coaches, it is imperative to communicate these changes to your athletes, parents, and spectators. Compliance with Penn’s rules is MANDATORY. Any continued inappropriate behavior will result in UAGTCA losing the privilege of hosting future meets at this facility.
We sincerely appreciate your cooperation in helping UAGTCA maintain its strong reputation and continue providing opportunities for YOUR athletes.
